Application
KTM 21 is mainly for use with automatic dipping machines with a high production capacity. However, dipping by hand is possible, using a shorter open time.
Characteristics
This is a low viscosity overdipping wax used to achieve a matt finish. Normal fat soluble or pigment colours are used. The wax burns down so as to leave an even wax pool rim. KTM 21 does not contain combustion inhibiting high molecular polymers. A special stabiliser has been added which suspends the colour, thus counteracting the colours leaving deposits in the dipping bath.
Working Conditions
We recommend dipping twice in order to obtain an optimum matt finish. We further recommend that the overdipped candles are not water but air cooled.
